Essiac is a trademark name for internal cleansing remedy made up of four herbs, based on an old native recipe. It was popularized by Canadian nurse Rene Caisse, who’s name backwards spells Essiac. She administered this simple herbal decoction to cancer patients for several decades, with remarkably successful results. Rene Caisse opened up an internationally renowned cancer clinic in my hometown of Bracebridge in the 1930’s and early 40’s. The recipe can be made by anyone as long as you have high quality herbs in the formula.
The 4 plants in the formula are:
Burdock Root, Sheep sorrel, Slippery Elm Bark & Turkish Rhubard root. The proportions are as follows, this makes quite a large batch:
6 1/2 cups of Burdock root, cut broken into pea size pieces
1 lb Sheep Sorrel powdered or ground
4oz (1/4 lb) Slippery Elm Bark
1 oz Turkish Rhubarb root, powdered
My grandmother had cancer and rid her body of it in 2 weeks. You take 1-2 ounces morning and night, 30 minutes away from food. I take 1 ounce once daily for a general tonic. If you have questions and want to purchase the herbs to make this yourself, contact me at: ashley@lovenorth.ca
